We’re seeking a Product Design Team Lead (w/m/d) to lead our Design Team in Berlin. This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in the office.

Your mission in a nutshell

Lead and scale design across our global portfolio: 15 mobile apps (iOS & Android), 6 B2B web platforms, delivered in 12 languages across multiple brands and white-label clients.

You will lead a team of designers across product squads, establish the standards and processes that let design scale with quality, and contribute operationally – with a particular focus on our B2B web platforms, where we build solutions for global, multi-national enterprise clients. You will embed AI into both how we work and what we build, and connect design decisions to business outcomes.

How you will spend your time:

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers across multiple squads
Alongside leadership duties, you will get involved with hands-on design work
Establish standardised processes, frameworks, and rituals across all squads, and continuously improve workflows
Orchestrate cross-team projects and dependencies, driving a seamless end-to-end user experience across mobile and web
Govern and evolve a scalable multi-brand / white-label design system, with full support for 12 languages and RTL
Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership to turn strategy into design priorities and measurable outcomes
Champion accessibility, inclusivity, and culturally-attuned UX across global audiences
Bring AI into the design workflow – from research and ideation to documentation and delivery – to raise quality and velocity

What you should bring to the table:

Proven experience leading and developing product designers, with a track record of mentorship and coaching
Strong product thinking and the ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes, KPIs, and growth
Hands-on experience designing mobile or web platforms for global, multinational enterprise clients
Experience designing and scaling globalised products across multiple brands, markets, and languages – including RTL and bidirectional design systems
Hands-on experience using AI tools in design workflows and designing AI-powered features in production
Deep understanding of user-centered design, research methodologies, and end-to-end design from discovery to delivery
Systems thinking, with the ability to scale design patterns across multiple products
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and storytelling skills in English

Nice to have:

Experience leading design across both mobile (iOS & Android) and web at scale
Background in digital health, HR tech, or SaaS platforms
German language skills

Please note: our offices close over the Christmas and New Year period for approximately two weeks. We gift the 24th and 31st December as extra vacation days and any additional non-public holiday days during this time will be taken from your annual leave.
