We're now looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer (w/m/d) to join our growing team in Berlin and learn the craft of software quality assurance.
Your mission in a nutshell:
You'll support our QA efforts in ensuring the reliability and quality of our mobile applications, primarily through manual testing, but with the explicit aim of increasing the amount of automated testing.
You'll be learning how quality shapes our product, gaining insights into real user needs, and making a tangible impact on people's health journeys. Working closely with the QA team, Product, Design, and Engineering teams, you'll develop a strong foundation in quality assurance while seeing your work make a real difference, every single day.
This is a hybrid position – 2 days per week in the office (Wednesdays and Fridays)

How you will spend your time:
- Learn and execute manual testing under the guidance of experienced QA engineers, growing your test execution and defect identification skills.
- Collaborate with the QA team to understand testing strategies and help ensure product quality in every Sprint.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering) to support quality assurance and release readiness.
- Be an advocate for the user's experience, asking questions and identifying areas where quality can be improved.
- Gain exposure to bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail) and participate in the full QA lifecycle.
What you should bring to the table:
- 0–2 years of experience in QA testing or a related field (or fresh graduate with strong interest in QA)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Eager to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus
- Basic understanding of mobile testing best practices
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail)
- Interest in test automation (we can provide training on frameworks like Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)

- A first call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
- A second call with an Engineering Manager
- A technical screening call with 1 - 2 QA engineers that includes a technical test
- A final culture-fit call with our Director of Engineering
